Best Practice : Managing your customer relationship in an international context
Sidetrade helps you with the financial management of your national and international customers thanks to its platform, easily adjustable and adaptable according to the local specificities of your customers.
When you log into Sidetrade Network, you can select the language in which you wish to use your platform among nine available languages.
This feature is available to all users by default.
Preparing collection actions
When studying the list of items on a specific account, you can see any invoice amount in both transaction currency and accounting currency.
If you select several items, the balance will also be calculated in multiple currencies.
To adapt your collection to local characteristics, you can create groups of clients (Collection SideGroups) by filtering your customers on country or on preferred collection language. You can then apply a specific collection scenario (workflow) to this group in order to perform the most adapted collection actions for this group.

The Digital Letter now available in 21 languages.
11 new languages have recently been launched: Croatian, Czech, Danish, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Norwegian, Polish, Russian, Swedish and Romanian.
Stay tuned! New languages will be added in the coming months: Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Thai, Hindi and Malay.
Letters and emails
Letters and emails are set up directly in the customer’s language, and are thus automatically sent in the most relevant language.
Traditional Chinese has recently been added to the available collection languages.
When the cash collection team acts on a given account, the most useful tools are adaptable to international customers.
If a compatible Electronic Document Management System is set up, the cash collector can send an invoice duplicate by email very simply by clicking the dedicated button. The email will be automatically generated in the collection language.
The statement of account is also available to be exported in the customer language and includes the amounts in transaction currency, to simplify discussions with customers.
If any situation, such as a commercial dispute, requires another team’s action, you can use SideNotes to transfer the relevant information to them, as invoices remainders are now displayed in transaction currencies within SideNotes.
The ageing balance is sent automatically by email on your chosen frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.).
This ageing balance is displayed in the accounting currency and will be consolidated for better visibility.
