A new position has opened up for dedicated & passionate Senior Solutions Consultant who will become the face of a market leading, fast growing SaaS software organisation. This exciting and dynamic role reports to the Head of Solution Consulting who is responsible for all of Sidetrade Presales operations with prospects and customers globally.
Leading the pack and under limited management supervision, the Senior Solution Consultant is the primary sales business partner within the French market and is responsible for consulting with the customer and sales team to discover a prospects business needs and then defining and translating those needs into attractive solution offer that showcases the very best of our Gartner & Forrester recognised, award winning solutions.
You will work with a huge variety of business personas, from CxO through to business operations and I.T. You will use your analytical skills to understand, relate to and match customer business needs to a contextual, high value-add Sidetrade solution. This will ensure your contribution to selling what is already a proven, disruptive market leading suite of A.I analytics and engagement solutions that provide finance, marketing, sales, customer operations and other teams the chance to better collaborate together and to accelerate their growth.
Work as a consultant and member of field sales teams for qualified customers and contribute to account strategy, product/solution positioning, sales planning, solution definition, cost and duration estimation, product/business value, and ROI analysis
Facilitate sales contacts, research customer and industry needs and participate in determining the market strategies and goals for each product and service
Identify, evaluate and respond to key business issues of qualified accounts and develop, present and demonstrate predictive & A.I capabilities to the potential customer
Develop, deliver and lead implementation of professional solution proposals. Research solution requirements. Develop presentations, diagrams, process flows and technical requirements. Review and edit responses to proposals
Manage a variety of key projects and activities related to attaining new business opportunities
Strategize with the sales team and consulting staff to address technical issues and participate in the development of the strategy and objectives for all customer meetings
Provide solution documentation to Project Managers so they can effectively provide accurate, detailed estimates in a timely manner, and be available for ongoing direction and consulting to the Project Managers during the project lifecycle as necessary
Perform other duties as required to ensure the goals and objectives of the function/department are met
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities / Competencies
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or other related fields
A minimum of 3+ years of experience in in a Solution Consulting/Pre-Sales role, ideally within the software sector
Direct exposure nd/or experience on the client side of business preferred
Strong understanding of statistical tools and solutions. Track records in applying analytics to improve business results
Excellent oral and written communication. Ability to communicate and apply a consultative/solution-based approach to solving customer requirements
Must be a problem solver with a ‘get it done’ attitude and strong self-motivated. Ability to think innovatively and drive changes. Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time. Has ability to seek opportunity with ambiguity
Demonstrates a high level of consultative behavior when working with customers. Ability to seek out new contacts and conduct research to assess feasibility of new ideas. Ability to represent Sidetrade in a professional, credible manner
Hands-on knowledge and experience combining data, analytics and technology to deliver real-time transaction processing solutions, ideally at a SaaS Software editor
High degree of computer literacy. Prior experience using statistical software or business enablement software (CRM, ERP etc).
A proven ability to work in collaboration with various personas (IT, sales, CXO, Financial profiles etc)
Strong presentation skills (documentation and in business meetings)
Project and change management , in a financial / transactional discipline
Can operate at both Functional and technical level (EG experience as Solution consultant sales or with experience engaging with prospects in a Professional Services or Product Manager capacity )
Experience in managing delivery of interfaces and Proof of Concepts (POC)
Financial planning and ROI and business case creation
Experience working on multiple projects/bids simultaneously
Native French speaker plus fluency in English
Flexibility to travel both locally within France and Internationally is essential for this role
